Last week, I had the absolute pleasure of being chosen by colourful UK make up brand Beautyuk to be in their ‘Blogger Spotlight’. After answering a series of questions about myself and my beauty blogging journey, I was thrilled to see my face taking pride of place in the Beautyuk ‘blogger heart’ – following in the footsteps of fellow YouTubers and bloggers like FleurDeForce and MsDriftedSW. Of course, in my interview I talked mainly about my YouTube channel, although they have kindly offered to include a link to my shiny new blog at the bottom of the page now. But enough from me – click HERE to visit the page for yourself!
Whilst we’re at it, I’d like to take the opportunity to share one of my favourite Beautyuk products with you all…
When I do make up tutorials on my YouTube channel, eyeshadow is one of the most important products that I use, and I am constantly on the hunt for reasonably priced, good quality shadows. Beautyuk kindly sent me the above pallet, which is No.6, Day and Night, for a YouTube review.
So, why do I like it? Firstly, the price – the palette is £3.99 for 10 shadows, bargain! The colours are beautiful, and I love the fact that they’re not ‘crumbly’, which can sometimes be a problem with some eyeshadows towards the bargain end of the market. The pigmentation was fantastic for the price, and although you need to use a little more product than usual to get a good blend, at £3.99 a palette that really isn’t a problem.
So a huge thank you to Beautyuk for their kindness and support (they really are one of the loveliest cosmetics companies I’ve ever dealt with), I’m excited for their new products, notably the Pearl Eyeliners, so stay tuned!
