Having fair hair and eyebrows can be a bit of a pain at times – especially when it comes to finding good products for filling in the brows. Many are too dark, harsh and un-blendable (which I find is a necessity for making the filler look natural). I recently picked up this MUA Eyebrow Pencil in Blonde from Superdrug, and wondered whether it might be able to do the trick!
The two shades on offer were Brunette and Blonde – not the most extensive range, but the colours did look great. I obviously opted for Blonde!
I have used other eyebrow pencils in the past but they have never been quite the right shade for my hair and skin tone – as Rae Morris always says: match your eyebrows to the colour of your hair, not the colour you want it to be! So, how did I fare with this shade, which is super similar to my hair colour?
And, AFTER using the eyebrow pencil:
I feel that the pencil is a really good match for my colouring – I had to give it a little blend to make sure the colour wasn’t too bold, but that’s fine by me! I loved that the pencil was double-ended, with a brush at the other end: this made it really easy to ensure that my brows looked even and full!
I rave constantly about MUA as I love the fact that most of their products are only £1, including this one! To find products so cheap that actually work is a rare thing, so I will celebrate them as long as they’re awesome!
