Over the past few weeks I’ve been hearing a lot about a certain new underwear store, Boux Avenue. A chain of their store recently opened in the Trafford Centre, and when we went along on Sunday I couldn’t wait to check it out!
From the minute I walked into the store I was completely amazed – we were welcomed by a genuinely pleasant lady, shown where to find everything we needed and made to feel completely relaxed.
I decided to ask whether they had a measuring service – considering the last time I was measured for a bra was when I was 13, I thought I was due one! The changing rooms are absolutely luxurious – each one is named (I was in ‘Silk’) and you can even adjust the lighting from ‘day’ to ‘dusk’ – I only wish I had photos!
I was extremely pleasantly surprised to find out that I am a smaller back size and bigger cup size than I thought! I then set about to find some bras to treat myself to. There were some gorgeous designs, but in the end I decided that I needed some everyday, flattering ones.
There were two delightful packages in the gorgeous bag: the large one is the two bras I bought, and the smaller one is a divine room spray that I couldn’t resist picking up. First, let’s talk about the bras.
I opted for two of the Boux Avenue Gel Bras (known as the Shimmer Boost T-Shirt Bras) – a decision which was probably aided by the fact that it was 2 for £25! Individually, the bras cost £22, so it is a massive saving. They really live up to their name – the material is silky, shimmery and gorgeous to touch, and the gel boost really makes a different without making you feel uncomfortable. Even the small details, like the gold ‘Boux Avenue’ tags sewn just under the bust, just make these bras fantastic and luxurious. They had a great range of colours, but I opted for one black and purple; two colours that can go with almost anything!
I absolutely couldn’t resist picking up this room spray either – the whole store smelt of it and it is truly divine! It is the Boux Avenue White Chiffon Room Spray and it was on sale for just £5! I wish I’d bought more than one!
You might have noticed the gorgeous petals surrounding the items in my photos – the petals were included in the bag and are scented. The absolutely wonderful assistant in the store recommended that I put them in my underwear draw to keep everything smelling sweet. A great tip!
Going to Boux Avenue was one of the best shopping experiences I’ve had in absolutely ages, and I would thoroughly recommend stopping by. Thank you so much to the girls at the Trafford Centre store for all their help and for being so lovely!
