MUA are one of my favourite make up brands – why? Because they have well and truly nailed the concept of combining value with quality. Most of their make up items cost just £1 (and are available from Superdrug) and the quality of their products is worthy of prices far higher.
When it comes the blusher, cheap and cheerful is just what I’m after – I wear it about once a millennium, so I don’t want to be forking out a fortune for one. Today I’m going to be reviewing the MUA Blusher in Shade 1.
The packaging is nice and simple, and really not bad for a £1 product. I’ve never had any trouble with any of the MUA packaging cases breaking on either this product or the many eyeshadows of theirs that I own.
The shade is super pink and, on the surface, looks a little Barbie-like. I’m not too much of a fan of looking like one (you have to be careful when you’ve got long blonde hair!) so I was a little wary. Thankfully, not only is the colour payoff on the skin beautiful, but it is also extremely blendable:
The top swatch is the product simply swiped onto my hand; the bottom swatch shows how the product blends to a softer tone. In my reviews, I’m absolutely always completely honest, and if there was something negative to say about this product, I would say it. The thing is…there’s literally nothing bad to say about it!
Top marks to MUA, and I can’t wait for my next Superdrug trip!
