Review: ELF All Over Cover Stick in Apricot Beige – Fair

A couple of weeks ago, when I was given the fantastic opportunity to raid make up artist Caroline Frazer’s spare make up collection, I was intrigued to try out this ELF product I came across – the ELF All Over Cover Stick in Apricot Beige – Fair. I rarely wear foundation or concealer, but on the occasions I do I want to make sure I do it properly. As I have super fair skin, this shade seemed perfect for me…but did it live up to my expectations?

ELF All Over Cover Stick in Apricot Beige Fair Review

On Saturday night, myself and my lovely boyfriend went to a wedding party, and I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to try the Cover Stick out. Considering the product retails for £1.50, I couldn’t be any good, could it? Well, actually…yes!

I was incredibly impressed with this concealer – I used a concealer brush to apply it under my eyes for dark circles and around my nose for redness. Concealers I’ve used before sometimes end up looking slightly cakey, but this was smooth and natural-looking (which is a must for me!)

If I had any complaints it would perhaps be about the packaging – the tube is a little hard to twist upwards, but it really is a minor point. Overall, I’m a fan!

That’s such a reasonable price considering the fact that it actually works! ;)

    hi chyaz,
i love the all over cover stick that i have from elf however one downside for me is it tends to become much more visible throughout the day unless i use the elf tone correcting concealer underneath (as a base) also the application isn’t grate when i use a brush or my finger, probably just me though if it’s alright for you.
