Eyeko Launches in Marks & Spencer!

Eyeko Marks and Spencer launch make up bag

I’m all about the eyes. Up until couple of years ago, I didn’t actually wear any make-up at all bar eyeshadow, eyeliner and mascara (and lipstick occasionally). I learned early on in my beauty journey how to make my eyes POP, and have long held eye make up products as my ultimate essentials. That’s why when Eyeko got in touch asking me to meet them to find out all about their products, and the fact they’re launching at M&S, I couldn’t wait to go along!

I met the lovely co-founder Nina Leykind and MUA Roberta to chat about some of their key products, and as you can see above I also had my make up done! I will be posting some more in-depth reviews soon, but wanted to give you a quick overview today!

First up, the Black Magic Mascara

I’m a HUGE mascara girl, and instantly loved the no-waste squeeze tube the Eyeko mascaras are famous for. This was one of the products used on me by Roberta and the photo speaks for itself – my lashes looks amazing. I can’t wait to play around with this one more and I’m fairly sure it’s going to become a staple of mine!

Let’s move along to the Black Magic Liquid Eyeliner

Eyeko Black Magic Eyeliner Review

I love the effect of liquid eyeliners but find the application super difficult – with this Eyeko liner that problem is no more! The brush is super easy to use and the effect is just as impactful as your classic pot format, you just get that extra element of control over the application. I’m very much looking forward to trying this out more myself and posting a full review for you!

Back to the mascaras, and we have the Sport Waterproof Mascara!

Eyeko Sport Waterproof Mascara allure award

This product has won an Allure award, which is a huge deal! The beautiful non-plastic brush means that it can really hug your lashes without restriction, and as an avid exercise fan I am going to be putting this to the test by wearing it during a sweaty workout. Keep your eyes peeled for my thoughts on how it performed!

To match, we have the Sport Waterproof Eyeliner!

Roberta actually used this on my upper waterline to really add that emphasis at the base of the upper lashes and my goodness, what an incredible effect it had! Looking at my eyes in the mirror as she worked, I saw an instant difference. It didn’t transfer to my lower waterlines and stayed put all day long. I am very impressed with this product and will be using it for those long-wear make up days without a doubt.

It’s shadow time! Introducing the Me & My Shadow Waterproof Shadow Liner in Taupe…

Eyeko Shadow Liner review

I have long shied away from using shadow sticks as I always felt like I’d just coloured in my lids with no real thought behind the look. The AMAZING thing about these products from Eyeko is that they also contain a brush! Hooray for blending! This was one of the shades Roberta used on me and I just loved the way the creamy formula sat on my lids – it didn’t crease or transfer and I was very impressed with it. I’ll be using it much more in my routine!

Finally, we have the Eyeko Brow Gel!

Eyeko Brow Gel review

I find my brows are quite unruly at times, despite them being so fair, and a brow gel is something I’ve needed in my life for a long time. When I met Eyeko, this was one of the brow products Roberta used on me, and my brows didn’t budge for the rest of the day. I do find little hairs fly out of place usually, and when I’m dashing around it’s just not too awesome. This was a life saver!

So, what do you guys think of these first impressions? I am really looking forward to using these products more and filling you in about my experiences with them!

Stay Creative,
