How To Remove Halloween Makeup!

Happy Halloween! One of my favourite days of the year is finally here – are you excited to get dressed up tonight?! Over the past few weeks there have been thousands of incredible Halloween make up tutorials on YouTube, so for my latest video I wanted to shake things up a little and look a bit past the tutorials themselves. What comes after an amazing, scary, heavy make up look? The make up removal process, of course! I wanted to show you how I take off my Halloween make up, using some of my favourite skincare essentials.

I wanted to make the video as straightforward and quick as possible, as I put myself in the position of getting home after an awesome Halloween party – the last thing you want to do after a couple of drinks and a whole lot of spooky fun is spend hours scrubbing at your face to remove your make up. I absolutely swear by Simple skincare products – as many of you know, I am their Brand Ambassador (but this video wasn’t sponsored – I just genuinely use and love their products!) and as you can see, they worked an absolute charm.

I don’t want to give away too much of what’s in the video, but I wanted to let you know about the products I featured in the tutorial (don’t forget to give the video a watch to see the best way of using them!). Here’s a little more about each one, and why they’re some of my absolute skincare staples:

Simple Kind To Skin Micellar Cleansing Water: This is my Holy Grail skincare product. It removes make up like a dream, and leaves my skin feeling absolutely epic. If I could only use one beauty product for the rest of my life, it would be my Simple Micellar Water!

Simple Kind To Skin Micellar Cleansing Wipes: These wipes are just as amazing as the Simple Micellar Water, just in wipe form! In the video you can see just how easy they make the make up removal process, and I just wouldn’t be without them. They’re incredible!

Simple Kind To Skin Purifying Cleansing Lotion: I have really dry skin, and especially during the colder months my skin needs extra boosts of moisture wherever it can get them. This cleanser is super creamy and feels gorgeous on the skin, especially after you’ve been wearing heavy make up (like on Halloween!)

Simple Kind To Skin Replenishing Rich Moisturiser: After every cleansing routine, you need a good moisturiser – this is my go-to moisturiser of choice right now, as it is wonderfully rich but doesn’t feel heavy on my skin. It’s a dream product, and makes skin feel awesome after wearing all that make up.

What are you dressing up as this Halloween? Leave me a comment and let me know!

Stay Creative,

P.s. If you’re stuck for a last minute costume or make up idea, why not try the one just below? This Mime make up is really quick and easy, and you only need a few products to achieve it. As for the outfit, anything with stripes is good!
