Review: TRIANGL Swimwear

TRIANGL Swimwear Indy Polly Python review

I’m bringing something a little bit different to my blog today! When the lovely people from TRIANGL got in touch a week or so ago to see if I’d like to try out one of their underwear or swimwear sets, I jumped at the chance! I have long admired the photos I’ve seen on Instagram of their amazing creations, and adored the look of their bikinis. Now I don’t live by the beach, and am not due to go on a sunbathing holiday any time soon, but I always think it’s a good plan to have at least one nice bikini on standby for such an event! Introducing the TRIANGL Indy Polly Python Bikini.

The two-piece set retails for $79, which would make it way out of the usual swimwear price range for me. However, I had heard fantastic things about the cut and quality of the TRIANGL pieces and was excited to see how it looked in person. I asked for a size Small, and was stoked when the bikini arrived complete with its own little drawstring bag made from the same material!

TRIANGL Indy Polly Python Bikini review

As soon as I took the bikini out of its packaging, I could tell how superb the quality was. The material is luxuriously thick and sturdy, which is always a plus when talking about a bikini! The stitching is gorgeous and really pays attention to detail, and the ties at the edges of both the top and bottoms have little ‘TRIANGL’ branded cubes on the ends. The small touches really made the pieces for me, and I couldn’t wait to try them on!

After tying the loops into cute bows, I slipped into the bikini. Don’t worry, I won’t be alarming you by posting any photos of my bikini-laden self! Fit-wise, I would say that I underestimated the bottoms slightly – I have rather shapely buns, and could have probably done with a Medium on the bottom. However, once I adjusted the tightness of the loops they fit much better and felt super comfortable. By contrast I am lacking in the chest area (can’t have it all, I guess!) and had to tie the loops quite tightly to flatter my (lack of) bazoomas. I feel like I need to get to grips with the how I’ve tied the bikini to actually feel confident enough to wear it, as it’s very different to my usual wired┬ábra-style bikini.

All that said, I am incredibly impressed with the quality, presentation and overall look and feel of the TRIANGL Indy Polly Python bikini. Once I’ve figured out the best way to make it work for me and my figure, I have no doubt that it will be the first piece of swimwear in my suitcase should we jet off to a warmer climate!

Have you bought anything from the TRIANGL range? Let me know how you got on with it!

Stay Creative,

Great review, but you aren’t modeling? haha I wouldn’t either unless I used a lot of editing and a blurry lens! These look really nice and look like they are made so much better than a lot of suits! Congrats on your news! (I watched the video!) xx
