Review: Michael Kors Lipstick in Diva

High end review alert! I love to feature a mixture of luxury and affordable beauty products on my blog, and today I have a super special one to show you. The lovely folks over at Michael Kors beauty kindly sent me a few products to try out, and one I have been loving is the Michael Kors Lipstick in Diva.

When I first looked at the product in the tube, it wasn’t a shade that particularly caught my attention. I am a fan of more nude shades (as well as crazy bright ones, I’m a bit all-or-nothing) but tend to go for peachy shades over anything darker. Nonetheless, I gave Diva a whirl as I’m never one to shy away from a spot of lipstick indulgence!

Before looking at the shade, let’s just take a moment to admire the packaging. I’m not usually a fan of gold, but there’s something about the lipstick tube that is SO glamorous yet understated. The Michael Kors name is only visible when tilted a certain way, which adds an air of mystery and makes it seem somehow even more luxurious!

On to the lipstick shade itself. In the tube is even looks a little frosty, with very fine shimmer running through it – I do like a bit of shimmer (rather than actual glitter, though I have been known to rock a red glitter lip!) so I was excited to see how it transferred to the lips…

Michael Kors Diva Lipstick Review

I was incredibly pleasantly surprised – the lipstick was beautifully sheer, super hydrating and a stunning natural shade! I really have a thing for sheer nude lipsticks that almost feel like they’re doing your lips some good. The colour is very buildable which makes the lipstick more versatile, and it is the kind of shade that would suit almost any make up look. I think it would look amazing on a huge variety of skin tones too, which is brilliant.

Diva is going straight into my handbag as an everyday essential – I love it! I’ve been very impressed with the Michael Kors beauty products I have tried out, and I’m excited to test out even more! The lipstick retails for £23.

What do you think of Diva? Let me know!

Stay Creative,
