Review: Balmi Lip Balm in Coconut

I’m forever on the hunt for a good lip balm, and had noticed the Balmi Moisturising Lip Balms on the shelves in Boots. I had been tempted to pick one up every single time I went in, and the other day I noticed they were on offer, so had to give the Coconut one a whirl!

I’m a total sucker for anything coconut scented – I’m a huge Pina Colada fan and when a product reminds me of that smell I just feel like I’m on a beach in the Caribbean! First things first…the scent is INCREDIBLE. It might be my favourite lip balm scent of all time, and that’s saying something – I have tried out more than you could imagine!

Balmi Lip Balm Coconut Review

So, you might be thinking, “Chyaz, that’s not a lip balm you daft brush! It’s a funny little cone-shaped thing!” But I kid you not, it is a lip balm. A super fun, unique looking and really quite clever lip balm. I adore the shape actually – it makes the product really easy to apply, as the cone shape fits nicely with the natural curve of your lips.

Let’s look at some of the ingredients. It boasts things like Vitamin E, Shea Butter and Jojoba Oil, plus SPF 15 too. It certainly feels incredibly moisturising on the lips, which means it takes a little while longer to sink in but once it does the effect is gorgeously soft. I have very, very, very dry lips and it keeps mine smooth for a good while, which is an achievement in itself!

Balmi Lip Balm Coconut Review

I have been using the Balmi for a few days now, and I have noticed a general improvement in my lips. I haven’t had to apply lip balm quite as often, and they haven’t been particularly sore – normally, there are times when I can’t even talk properly as my lips hurt so badly, so this is brilliant for me! By the way, did anyone else just read that last line in a Napoleon Dynamite voice?! My lips hurt real bad…

I’d highly recommend picking up a Balmi on your next Boots trip, or clicking on the link at the top of this post when you’re online shopping. I’m really excited to try out the other flavours now!

Stay Creative,

I’m a sucker for anything coconut/piña colada smelling or tasting as well. Sounds like this works really well and may be worth adding to my huge lip balm collection. I will never need another one, but I’m always looking to buy them. 😀
