How I Remove My Make Up

I’ve posted literally hundreds of videos on YouTube showing how to apply make up, but never one about how to take it off! I thought I’d better correct that today. Take a look at my brand new video: How I Remove My Make Up!

I don’t believe in complicated skincare, which is one reason I love products from Simple. There are three steps to my make up removal routine, and each uses a different but equally brilliant Simple item! Let’s run through each stage…

1. Initial Cleanse

I always start with a make up wipe to take off that initial layer of foundation, plus eye make up. I am currently using the brilliant Simple Kind To Skin+ Radiance Brightening Wipes, though on a more regular basis I use the Simple Kind To Skin Cleansing Facial Wipes. I use one part of the wipe to take off my foundation or BB cream, then clean sections to remove my eye make up!

2. Deeper Cleanse

If I’ve been wearing a heavier foundation, I’ll exfoliate with the Simple Spotless Skin Deep Clean Cleansing Pads, but if I’ve just had on a BB cream (as I did in this video) I choose another option. I love the Kind To Skin Purifying Cleansing Lotion for not only removing and additional traces of make up, but leaving my dry skin lovely and nourished too!

3. Moisturise

This is an essential step for me. If I take my make up off just before bed, I’ll pop on the Kind To Skin Vital Vitamin Night Cream, however as I filmed this video this afternoon I just used the Simple Kind To Skin Hydrating Light Moisturiser. My skin felt amazing afterwards!

How do you love to remove your make up? Let me know!

Stay Creative,

I remove my makeup by using the simple pads as well, and if I worked out I will exfoliate my skin if it feels like it needs it, or use a clean and clear cleanser and then use another cleanser and moisturizer set to treat my ache…which is caused by stress…and seems never ending.. but I keep trying. 🙂

That sounds good lovely – have you tried any of the other products in the Simple Spotless Skin range? xo
