Review: OPI Next Stop…The Bikini Zone

I’m so excited to be reviewing a nail polish from OPI’s Brazil collection today – introducing Next Stop…The Bikini Zone! OPI very kindly gifted me some amazing polishes recently, and this is the first one I have tried out. I’m going to say from the very beginning that I am absolutely in love with this product!

I never really got over the duo chrome nail trend – it is still one of my favourite effects and every time I see a new shade I get a bit too excited. I adored the pewter, purple and silver shades I could see in the bottle and hoped they would transfer to my nails! After applying a coat of my Nail Envy, I set to work with Next Stop…The Bikini Zone (love the name, by the way!)

After the first coat the polish looked a teensy bit thin, but the second coat was the absolute charm! I very rarely use a polish that looks as good on the nails as it does in the bottle, but this is definitely one of them. I can imagine that it would look stunning in the sunshine (no chance of seeing any of that in Manchester for a while, I’m afraid!) as the light really does catch the gorgeous mixture of colours.

Here’s how it turned out!

Oosh, I just adore it! Aside from the spectacular colour, my favourite thing about this polish is its incredible lasting power. I’ve been wearing this for around 5 days now, and despite travelling half way across the country and back over the weekend (with a million bags!) it barely chipped at all. Over the past day it has started to wear more, but it is still an amazing result. OPI, you’ve done it again!

I’m really excited to try more of the lovely polishes I was sent, so watch this space for more reviews and swatches!

Stay Creative,

i love shimmery nail polishes these days! A little bit off-topic, but i thought i would ask you, since you’re a healthy eating person, haven’t you thought about switching to more natural, cruelty free make up?:) i did a little while ago, and i have no regrets! it’s nice for make up not only to look natural, but be natural aswell 🙂
    xoxo love you!
