OOTD: My 23rd Birthday (Day & Night)

Firstly, my apologies for being slightly absent from Chyaz.com lately! Things have been very busy (hopefully I can tell you more soon), and last week was taken up with birthday celebrations and lots of work. I wanted to share my birthday OOTD with you, plus a little extra Outfit of the Night from Saturday!

My actual birthday was on Thursday 5th December, and I had a wonderful day out at Chatsworth House with my boyfriend Tiz. I’m a total history geek, and any kind of historical house or location is a perfect destination for me. Chatsworth was beyond beautiful, and was all decked out for Christmas – the decorations were actually based on The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe, which was amazing!

Here’s what I wore on my actual birthday – sorry it’s not full length!

OOTD 23rd Birthday

OK, so I didn’t wear the crown all day (as much as I wanted to!) but the rest I thankfully did. Let’s start with the coat – it was originally from Miss Selfridge,  and was a gift from my mum last Christmas. It’s one of my ultimate favourite items of clothing and I can’t get enough of it this year! I teamed it with a plain black vest top from Topshop, and this beautiful knee-length tartan skirt – it was a present from my sister for my birthday from a boutique in our home town. I adore it! You can’t see my shoes here, but they were from the awesome Boohoo.com, and I also used my Vivienne Westwood bag on the day.

I had the most brilliant day, and as it was mid-week I had to plan evening activities for the weekend. Four of my favourite people in the whole world came to stay with us, and we had a fabulous night of cocktails and mad dancing. Here’s what I wore!

OOTN Birthday

Once again, apologies for the lack of full-lengthness! My dress was from Jones+Jones, and you may remember it from my Paris photos. I absolutely adore it, and as the birthday girl I felt the sparkles and full skirt were totally justified!

I teamed the dress with my trusty Primark creeper wedges, which go with just about anything and always add a punky edge. I also wore my Betsey Johnson skull and crossbones cropped cardigan (it’s rather chilly here, y’know!) as well as my adorable Betsey Johnson tiny leopard print bag!

What do you think of my Birthday OOTD and OOTN?

Stay Creative,
