Review: Redken Color Extend Magnetics Conditioner

After posting my review of the Redken Color Extend Magnetics Shampoo a week or so ago, I thought it was about time to deliver my feedback on the matching Conditioner! I like to make sure I’ve tried out products thoroughly before reviewing, and I definitely feel I’ve given this one a good shot.

First things first – the packaging is beautiful, and my perfect shade of pink! The bottle is easy to grip as it had ridges running down the sides, and the flip top cap is easy for using in the shower.

When it comes to conditioner, I am pretty picky – my hair is crazy long, and I want to keep it in the best condition possible. I need a product that is thick enough to do a good job but isn’t going to make my hair greasy within the day. I’m happy to say that this one fits my needs perfectly – it’s amazing!

I applied just a small amount to my hair and it felt creamy yet not heavy. I washed it out after around 2 minutes and my hair felt lovely and light, which is just what I’m looking for!

I always let my hair dry naturally for around half an hour after washing, then I blow dry to finish. When it was totally dry, my hair felt smooth, soft and super silky. It also did a great job of colour preservation, too (as did the matching shampoo) – it’s tricky to keep highlighted blonde hair looking bright, but this really helps.

Thanks so much to the lovely Regis for sending me these products! I adore them, and can’t wait to try more from the Redken range.

Stay Creative,

I get the long hair thing, my hair comes down to my bum (and I have a friend whose hair is knee-length) and I hate using most conditioners because they just feel really naff. The only time they work for me is when I get my hair washed and cut at an actual salon. How much was this conditioner?

It’s a tricky one – this one is a salon-standard conditioner, which is why it’s so good. It costs around £11 🙂
