It’s no secret that I’m really into health and fitness, and for a long time you guys have been asking me to talk more about it diet. There are various videos I am planning based around this theme, but I thought a great one to start with would be the one I posted yesterday…
And here it is! My Favourite Health Foods:
I emphasised it a million times in the video, but I think it’s always worth mentioning again. My main philosophy when it comes to food is ‘everything in moderation’. That goes for healthy and unhealthy foods like – there’s no point deciding to be healthy by choosing nuts over a candy bar and then proceeding to eat the entire bag of nuts.
That being said, something I would have talked more about if time allowed (I didn’t want to end up with a 30 minute video!) was that all calories are not equal. For example, there may be the same number of calories in full-fat butter as there are in Coconut Oil, but your body deal with it in a totally different way. The same goes for fruit; a banana contains roughly 100 calories, which is the same as 7 Fruit Pastel sweets – the banana is always going to be way more healthy.
