I love a good dry shampoo – having super long hair, it’s essential for keeping my locks looking fresh between washes. I try to only wash my hair once or twice a week, so you can imagine how handy dry shampoo comes in!
Around a month ago, I received a Glossybox containing this lovely gem – the Inecto Pure Coconut Dry Shampoo. Please do excuse the red on the lid – unfortunately, a red nail polish inside the box burst during transit and covered everything! I managed to salvage this, though, and I’m very glad about it.
I absolutely love and adore coconut scents, so this already ticked the ‘fragrance’ box for me! I loved that the smell was actually quite light, and left only a delicate perfume on the hair rather than making you choke (which some dry shampoos have made me do in the past!)
After today’s workout, my hair really looked like it needed sprucing up. I had planned to wash it, but in the name of blogging I gave this a test drive instead. Can’t say I’m not dedicated 😉
Here’s my horrible mop beforehand:
I gave my hair a quick spray of the Inecto Dry Shampoo, waited a few seconds then massaged it in with my fingers. I never really brush my hair after using dry shampoo, so gave it a bit of a tousle with my fingers and…voila!
That’s better! I feel like the product did a good job of absorbing excess oil for the time being, although I wouldn’t want to leave it too long before giving it a good wash. It’s perfect for when you’re on the go, and for adding just a hint of fragrance too. I certainly felt refreshed after using it – a total winner for me!
The Inecto Pure Coconut Dry Shampoo retails for around £2.50 on places like Amazon, which is a great price in my book!
