I know very few people love their feet, but I really don’t like mine. I can always think of ways to spruce them up, and with summer in full swing I’m wearing sandals and flip flops all the time! I decided that I needed a better home-pedicure solution than my old favourite Ped Egg (which has seen better days) and decided to try out the Scholl Express Pedi.
I bought my Express Pedi from eBay (brand new, of course!) for around £30. It’s probably around £3 more expensive in stores, so it seemed like a reasonable deal. The basic idea is that the barrel, which is formed of a sandpaper-like material (sexy, I know), revolves and helps to remove the dead skin from your feet (this just gets more gorgeous by the minute!).
I gave it a whirl, applying light pressure per the instructions. At first I wasn’t sure that it was doing anything, but after a few minutes I really started to notice the results! My feet were much smoother and they also looked better too, which is what we’re all really after.
Now yes, I did actually take ‘before’ and ‘after’ photos of my feet, but I just can’t bring myself to upload them. Besides, I’m pretty confident that you guys have NO desire to see them! I would like to say that I am really, pleasantly surprised with the results of the Scholl Express Pedi. I’ve noticed a definite difference after just one use, and am looking forward to trying it out again.
If you’re unsure about investing in one of these more expensive electrical pedicure tools, I’d really encourage you to give it a go. I’m thrilled that I bought mine, and feel fab in my flip flops now! I have to admit that I’ve never had a professional pedicure, but I can’t imagine that the results are that much different – this did a brilliant job!
Have you tried out the Scholl Express Pedi , or any similar products? What did you think of them?
