I’m often asked about my favourite fragrances – I’m generally quite open to new products, scents and brands, although I will always have my two ultimate favourite perfumes. The first is Lacoste’s Touch of Pink (my everyday fragance) and Vivienne Westwood’s Let It Rock (my special occasion fragrance). I’ll be reviewing the latter today, and if you have the feeling that this will be an overly positive post, you would be correct!
As you can tell by the amount of product left in the bottle, I love this perfume! I always think perfume reviews, like perfume adverts, are kind of bizarre – so let me describe the smell to you! I would say that the fragrance is strong, sweet and spicy – but the spicy tones aren’t overpowering in any way. I always think of this as a winter scent, although this might be because I first started wearing it in December, when Tiz bought me my first bottle back in 2008.
I am complimented every time I wear this perfume, so it’s not just me that is in love with it! Aside from the smell, the bottle is absolutely divine – the classic Vivienne Westwood orb as the top is so cute! Everything about it is so classic with a fiery edge of angsty punk rock. Which is exactly what Vivienne Westwood is all about!
As far as retail price goes, it literally varies from one place to another, so your best bet is googling it to find a good deal. You can, of course, buy it directly from Vivienne Westwood, but it is also available in independent perfume shops.
