Review: Dolluxe False Lashes

Ah, false lashes. They can be either my best friend or worst enemy, depending on how my patience level is panning out that day. I love the way they look, but often find that they never quite look how I’d like in the end.

With all that said, I do like to try out different brands and search for falsies that really work for me. When Dolluxe got in touch and asked whether I’d like to review some of their lashes, I happily accepted the invitation!

The pair pictured above are #3 Born To Flirt, which is a fitting name considering the whole ‘fluttering your eyelashes’ thing! The pack contains three pairs of lashes, and the packaging is stunning – how gorgeous is the blue-haired model?

Here’s a closer look at the actual lashes. They are beautifully thick and very well shaped:

The second pair they sent me to try out are actually bottom lashes, something I have never used before. They are named as #8 Underlash B and looked beyond cute in their packaging.

I have to admit that I was a little apprehensive about these. I have enough trouble matching top lashes to my actual lashline, and though that it would be even more obvious on the bottom. However, I’m always up for trying something new and decided to give them a whirl!

The glue is included in both packets, which is fantastic. I applied both the top and bottom lashes with surprisingly little trouble – I didn’t even have to trim them, which is fantastic for me and my oddly shaped eyes!

Given how bad I am at applying falsies, I always have to fill in any gaps with eyeliner. Here’s the finished result!

Ok, so my application wasn’t perfect BUT I adore the lashes! The top ones are striking and ideal for a fancy night time look, and the bottom ones simply blew me away. I never imagined they could look as good as they do, but I felt like a china doll whilst wearing them (in a very good way!)

The Born To Flirt 3 Pack retails for $25, which is fantastic for three pairs of quality lashes. The Underlashes are $10, which I also think is great given how good they actually look on. Converted into British Pounds, the price point is fairly consistent with similar quality lashes.

What did you think of my finished false lashes look?

They look great and I would love to see a makeup tutorial inspired by the lashes 🙂
