Review: China Glaze Heat Index Nail Polish

I wasn’t planning on doing a China Glaze review so soon after my last post, but simply couldn’t resist! After looking at the new shades from the Sunsational range, I just had to try out one of my favourites – Heat Index.

I’m sure you all remember this beauty – the ultimate summery pink! I’m a total sucker for a pink polish, and couldn’t wait to pop this on my nails.

As always I started with a base coat, then applied thin coats of the nail lacquer. Although the coats seemed very sheer, the colour built up well and here was the result of three coats!

The finished effect is relatively sheer, but absolutely perfect for summer! If it was bolder, the neon might be a little too overpowering so it works wonderfully for me.

I did add a little glitter afterwards, just because I’m a total addict! But the shade is lovely on its own, and almost reminds me of a pink jelly bean (anyone know what I mean? Anyone…?)

I also love the name, and fits perfectly with the Sunsational theme!

I just can’t wait to try out the other brand new shades from the range – what do you think about Heat Index?

A big thank you once again to BeautyBay.com for sending the polishes to me – keep an eye out on their website for the new shades coming soon!

Stay Creative,
