Perfume samples are always fun to play with – a full bottle of any fragrance can be pricey, so trying and testing is a great plan! I was excited to spot this samples of the Roger & Gallet Fleur de Figuier Perfume in my Glossybox.
The word I would use to describe it is definitely ‘aromatic’ – the scent is strong yet fresh, and citrus-infused with a floral hint. It really took me by surprise when I first smelt it, as it was much more intense than I imagined.
As you can imagine, there are also strong notes of figs and leaves, which makes it quite a mature scent in my opinion. I can absolutely imagine a slightly older lady loving this perfume, but that’s not to say someone younger couldn’t totally rock it!
The fragrance is certainly a signature scent, which Roger and Gallet have also formulated into other products. I think that’s really cool, and fans of the scent will be pleased too!
The perfume retails at £32 for 100ml, which is just about right in my eyes. It is a very opulent and rich product and I think that’s reflected in things like the packaging and price.
What do you think of the striking Fleur de Figuier scent?
