Review: Jelly Pong Pong Fairy Lashes Mascara

For a little while, I have been looking for the perfect ‘solo’ mascara. What do I mean by that? Well, you know those days where all you want to wear is a little mascara and nothing else (someone…anyone?!)? I’ve been after a product that will make your lashes look long and separated without adding too much volume.

When this Jelly Pong Pong Fairy Lashes Mascara arrived in my Glossybox I was intrigued. I love the other Jelly Pong Pong products I’ve tried out, and the name sounded like just what I was after – light, fairy-like lashes.

I loved the tube, and thought it looked like a mixture between a drugstore and mid-range product. The brush looked quite standard, yet I liked how spaced-out the curves of the bristles were. It was looking good for my super-separated lash look!

Here is my eye without any make up on. I decided to try out the mascara totally on its own, with no shadow or liner, to get a proper comparison.

And with a generous coat of the Fairy Lashes Mascara, here’s the result!

Just what I was looking for! I am so glad to have discovered this beauty, and will be digging it out for those lazier make up days. It’s ideal for just adding a hint of colour and length without going overboard. The “no make up make up” look, if you like.

The Jelly Pong Pong Fairy Lashes Mascara retails for £15, which is a bit steep if you’re looking for a full-bells-and-whistles product. For what I need it is perfect though, so I’m happily going to use it up!

Stay Creative,
