It’s always fun to find something a little different in your Glossybox… I was super excited to find the Glossybox Blusher in Glossy Rosewood in a box they kindly sent me a few months ago.
I’m not the world’s biggest wearer of blush, but I do know what I like in one. I’m quite picky about them, which makes me quite a harsh reviewer!
The first thing that struck me about this Glossybox blush is the shade – it is beautiful! it is a dusky rose pink shade, which transfers very true to how it looks in the pan.
I can’t stand bright or unnatural-looking blushes, so this ticks the first box in terms of colour. Its is nice and subtle!
It was quite hard to get a photo of the true shade of this blush – I think the one above managed it though. I swatched it on my hand as I’m having a no-make up day (yes, it does happen – quite frequently!)
The formulation was clearly a powder without being chalky, which is a pet hate of mine. It did take quite a bit of swatching to get the colour you can see above, but that’s a plus in my book – if a blush is sheer, it means is it build-able in terms of coverage.
I always think that two pink lines down the side of your face are never going to look good, but with this product you can blend just a little to a sheer coverage and it will look gorgeous.
I also love that these Glossybox products are made by Kryolan, which is a brand I have a lot of respect for. However, I’m still a little confused about whether these products are for sale – if anyone knows, please do let me know!
It’s a thumbs up from me 🙂
