Review: Natural Collection Green Concealer

Thankfully, I don’t suffer with many skin problems (touch wood!) other than natural dryness and some redness. I’ve been noticing the redness more and more lately, especially when I go from the cold outside into a warm room.  I get very flustered and red, and when I know I’ve gone a bit red it makes me worse!

I decided that it was time to invest in some kind of ‘green cream’, either a primer or concealer to help mask the problem. I did a little internet research and found people recommending the Natural Collection Green Concealer.

Natural Collection Green Concealer

I have always had wonderful experience with Natural Collection products – I think the brand is incredibly underrated, especially considering that most of their products retail for just £1.99! (including this little beauty, by the way)

The concealer itself isn’t obnoxiously green, but has more of a tint. I used to be terrified of colour correcting products as I didn’t want to actually be green, but look neutralised.

I knew I needed to do my make up this afternoon, and couldn’t wait to try this raved-about product out. I firstly popped on my moisturiser, then blended in some of the concealer. I used it on my cheeks, chin, forehead and around my nose – I wasn’t shy about how much I used (although I didn’t go OTT) and was so happy with how it blended and covered up any redness.

Here’s my mug with my usual make up plus the concealer underneath the foundation!

WOW! I am absolutely bowled over at the result. Who knew that such a cheap and cheerful product could work better than I could have hoped for? I honestly don’t think I could have achieved a better finished look with a product five times the price.  I am thrilled!

This is absolutely one of my Holy Grail products, and I’d recommend it to anyone. What a find!

Do you think it’d help with rosacea? I have terrible red cheeks and like you said, it gets worse in this weather I turn completely scarlet!
