Sedona Lace brushes are amongst my favourite ever, and I was really excited when they contacted me about reviewing their Midnight Lace Brush Set!
It retails for $49.95 in the States but they ship over to other countries too. It contains the four brushes you see above, and I will go through each one in details for you!
I had never used a Kabuki brush before this one – no word of a lie! I understand the pitfalls of them in terms of people using them to brush on powder and, in the process, brush off their foundation. I used this one to pat my powder on, and lightly dust off any excess – it worked a treat, and I’m totally won over!
Flat Top Powder Brush
Although this is described as a powder brush, it is also suitable for liquid foundation and I used it as a stippling brush! It took a few moments to get used to such a large brush for applying my foundation (as I usually use one half the size) but is created a flawless look in the end! I will certainly be using it again in the future.
Round Top Powder Brush
When I first looked at this brush I wasn’t exactly sure what to do with it…I eventually had one idea, and was so glad I did! I ended up using this brush to blend out the powder I used to contour, and it worked AMAZINGLY! I am going to team it with the next brush I’ll mention forever more – they are my dream team of brushes!
Angle Top Powder Brush
This angled brush is the only one that has succeeded in replacing my old reliable one – I love it! With the bristles being so dense it really does pack the colour on, but when the brush above is used to blend the effect is amazing. It is a very precise brush, and one of my absolute favourites.
I haven’t given a brush set such a rave review in a long time – please rest assured that everything I have said is my own impartial opinion. Sedona Lace asked me to be totally honest in my review and I have been – I love the Midnight Lace Brush Set!
