This is the last in my trilogy of Batiste Dry Shampoo reviews, featuring the miniature products from the Wild set. This post is all about the Batiste Dry Shampoo in Savanna!
I’ve had amazing experiences with the other two dry shampoos from the mini Batiste set, so my expectations for Savanna were already quite high. My hair looked in need of a quick refresh today, so I got to work with this small but mighty can!
As soon as I sprayed the product onto my roots, I immediately noticed that it was more powdery than the other Batiste products, and also lighter in colour:
White roots alert! I always massage the product into my hair but knew that I would really have to get in there with my fingers to disperse the Savanna spray through my hair.
One other thing that I noticed after spraying the dry shampoo is the how subtle the scent is – the other two from the Wild set have lovely but strong scents, whereas Savanna is much less obvious. I liked it!
Here’s my hair after working my fingers through the roots:
Et voila! I am so pleased with the outcome of this product, and give it a huge thumbs up. I actually saved it until last because it was the one I was least interested in, but it’s turned out to be one of the best Batiste products ever!
If you’re using Savanna as a volumising product rather than as a dry shampoo though, I would be careful as it is quite powdery and drying. I can’t complain though, as it does a fantastic job of absorbing oil, but I know lots of people like to use it to give the roots a little lift!
