Review: No7 Stay Perfect Nail Colour in Temptress

As much as I love painting my nails, having to do it every other day can be a bit of a chore when you have a busy life (especially one that involves a lot of typing – nail polish on a MacBook keyboard does not make a happy Chyaz).

I have always had great experiences with the No7 Stay Perfect Nail Polishes – they apply beautifully and last a decent amount of time before chipping. In my latest NOTD post I used the lovely No7 Stay Perfect Nail Colour in Temptress – a dark burgundy shade.

Although this colour isn’t my usual cup of tea, it looked amazing teamed with the gold on my ring fingers. As always, I applied it with a base coat and used two coats of the polish. After just one it looked good, but I gave it another one for good measure.

I am pleased to report that No7 has not let me down in the slightest. I can’t believe that almost a week after painting my nails, they still look great! Granted, there are a couple of chips here and there but nothing too serious. I would happily go about my day with my nails as they are and not think anything of it.

The photo above is of my nails when I first painted them – you can see how rich the colour is. I think it is perfect for the time of year; just because Christmas is over, it doesn’t mean than colours on the cranberry spectrum are out!

The full sized No7 Stay Perfect polishes are £6 each from Boots – I don’t think the ones I have are the full size, as I got them in a gift set a couple of Christmases ago. Actually, that’s a good point in itself – the polishes are at least two years old and haven’t spoiled in the slightest. That can never be a bad thing!

Are you a fan of the No7 Stay Perfect range? Which shades would you recommend?

Stay Creative,
