I’ve been a fan of Batiste for a good while now – having super long hair, it is always good to have a break from washing it and opt for a dry shampoo day instead (it can literally take up half a morning with the washing and drying process!)
I was in Boots the other day and spotted this great little Batiste set on offer for just £3.99! There was no way I could resist it, and picked up the pack of three mini Batiste Dry Shampoos.
I am going to review each of the scents/styles separately, and today it is the turn of the Batiste Dry Shampoo in Wild!
First and foremost, it goes without saying that I love the packaging (can you guess which one I’m talking about?)
Leopard print on anything makes me fall in love with it, so it instantly happened with this product! I think it is important for beauty products to look nice on your dresser, and this is just gorgeous. I had no idea what it was going to smell like, or how well it would perform, but it was off to a good start in my book!
I gave it a little trial, and here are my results (this is the closest thing to an actual experiment that I will ever conduct…)
The product worked just as well as the standard Batiste Dry Shampoo – excellently! It not only made my hair look as fresh as the day it was washed, but also minimised the appearance of my roots – an amazing hidden benefit to dry shampoo. A total winner!
I often say that I don’t like products to have a scent, but I sometimes make exceptions when it comes to dry shampoo. The scent of Wild was delicious, and reminds me of this Spice Girls body spray that I used to have as a little girl. It is a very subtle blend of sweet and spicy, but isn’t obtrusive at all. I actually find that it lives up to its name!
I had just used it before filming this video, so you can see it in action!
I would absolutely recommend the Batiste Wild Dry Shampoo, and may even purchase the full sized one when my cans run out. A fantastic product!
