How I Get Rid of Spots

Spots. They are a problem for many, many people and something which you’ll more than likely want rid of.

I consider myself to have an excellent skincare routine (I use Simple skincare products and they work amazingly for me) but every now and then I do get a breakout. My spots are usually quite small but also quite red, and they bug me!

I thought I would talk you guys through how I deal with spots – both preventing them and getting rid of them if they do appear. I only really use two main ‘spot fighting’ products – the Simple Spotless Skin Rapid Action Spot Zapper and Deep Cleansing Pads.

The closest thing I have to a run-down of my skincare routine is in this video from a little while ago (I think I was sick whilst filming as I don’t look very happy!)

So if you take that as a pretty good representation of my everyday skincare plan (give or take a few different products) then that’s one way I prevent spots.

But, as I mentioned, the main preventative product I use in terms of avoiding spots are the Simple Spotless Skin Deep Clean Cleansing Pads.

I use one of these little pads each night after my Simple Cleansing Wipes – they are exfoliating and contain ingredients like Zinc PCA to help banish spots. I find that they work really well to keep spots at bay – that is, until hormones kick in and decide that you’re going to get a couple anyway!

When that happens, I grab the Simple Spotless Skin Rapid Action Spot Zapper.

This little beauty helps to zap spots in just 4 hours – If I have a few spots that are bugging me, I will apply this every now and then throughout the day. It really helps to dry them out and totally reduce the redness, which is amazing. It’s not harsh though, and suitable for sensitive skin, which means that your skin won’t get angry at you for using it!

So that is my strategy for dealing with spots – it is simple but effective (pardon the pun!) I hope this has been helpful.

Stay Creative,
