I’ve been absolutely dreading writing this post…
So it’s been two weeks since my last Weight Loss Wednesdays posts – one of those weeks was my holiday and the other was made up of days either side of that week. I think it’s fair to say that over the past two weeks I have eaten/drunk what I pleased, with minimal exercise.
With the holiday being All Inclusive and the food mainly consisting of a buffet, it was beyond tempting to just go all out and eat EVERYTHING! I didn’t, of course, and although I didn’t eat a lot of food I also didn’t deny myself anything, like dessert for one…
There were also unlimited drinks, and I did indulge in cocktails, sangria and beer. I also drunk a LOT of water, which I felt counter-balanced it, but I know that is just wishful thinking.
There’s little point dwelling on the fact that I haven’t had a good diet for the past two weeks – all I can say is that it’s inspired me to get back on track!
This section is going to be suitably short…although there was a pool at our hotel, it was really quite cold (if only it was heated!) so I didn’t do anywhere near as much swimming as I’d planned. We did walk around quite a bit but still not enough to burn off what we ate and drank.
I did do an amazing workout yesterday from the amazing Tiffany Rothe on YouTube, but that’s about it. I need to get back to the gym!
So now for the moment I’ve really been dreading…
Weekly weight loss: +3 lbs ** Total weight loss: 7 lbs
I really am gutted to have put on three pounds over the past fortnight, but on the other hand it has inspired me to get the weight back off and get back on track! Fingers crossed the figure next week is a little happier.
