I’m officially on holiday, but thanks to the wonder of scheduled blog posts, my blog is still going to be active throughout the week!
A good non-nude everyday eyeshadow should be a staple in every make up-lover’s kit. It’s easy enough to find gorgeous light brown shades, but for some an ‘everyday’ shadow needs to be something more dramatic. I am often one of those people!
After meeting up with my wonderful friend Georgie in London last week, I fell in love with the eyeshadow she was wearing. It was a semi-metallic but not glittery or overly shimmery grey – the Bourjois Little Round Pot Eyeshadow in 14 Gris!
Needless to say, I rushed out to buy the eyeshadow as soon as I could – who am I to pass up a perfectly good recommendation?! The pot cost £6.49 from Boots – it seems a little pricey at first, but wait until you see how versatile a colour it is!
I seriously love this eyeshadow – it is fast becoming my essential! I have a lot of grey-based shadows, but almost all of them seem to have an unnecessary amount of glitter in (I’m looking at you, Urban Decay!)
When you swatch the shadow, it doesn’t come off quite as bold as in the pot, but I quite like that – a build-able coverage is better than one that looks too severe.
What a stunning smokey shade – what do you guys think? I can’t wait to team this with a slick of black eyeliner and some serious lashes. Perfect!
Are you a Bourjois fan? I’d love any more product recommendations if you have them!
