Review: Barielle Nail Polish in Swizzle Stix

I don’t know about you, but summer often makes me think of pastel, candy colours…not shades I usually like, but I found myself unable to resist this super cute nail polish: the Barielle Nail Polish in Swizzle Stix (it even sounds like sweets!)

I knew that I probably wouldn’t be able to last long without adding some kind of glitter, so I snapped it quickly on my nails before I was tempted to customise the look!

I just loved how easy the application of this polish was – my nails weren’t in great shape underneath, but it still went on smooth and dried relatively quickly between coats.

As you can see, the colour on the nails is identical to in the bottle – there are no nasty shade-related surprises with this polish! I bought this in a set with a few other Barielle polishes, so technically this bottle cost just £2. It is worth three times as much!

I applied a generous two coats to my nails (as well as a base coat and top coat) but three wouldn’t go amiss if you had the time to spare!

As I predicted, I did then add an OPI glitter polish over the top…I guess I’m just not one for plain nail varnish colours! Nonetheless, I really did enjoy using the products and it gets a huge thumbs up from me.

Have you ever tried a Barielle nail polish? Do you love them as much as I do?

Stay Creative,

I also love this kind of colours for summer! In winter I’m always wearing purples and dark colours! 🙂

Can you combine your skin base foundation with moisturiser and review it for us please. Really need to buy a new tinted moisturiser and it says on the illamasqua website you can combine this foundation with moisturiser for light coverage.
