Review: TopShop Nail Varnish Remover Pads

Once I’ve featured an item in a haul, I like to take a little time to try it out and review it for you! When I bought the TopShop Nail Varnish Remover Pads online (mostly to bump up the price of my order to qualify for free delivery…) I decided to really put them to the test!

I began to get a little tired of the NOTD look I posted a few days ago (featuring LOTS of glitter polish) and thought it would be a great opportunity to test out these little beauties.

At first, I was worried that nothing was really happening – the pads seemed to be skimming across my nails and not actually removing anything. However, once I rubbed them a little bit they started to work wonders!

I would say that they worked marginally better than regular nail polish remover with cotton wool, but there is one MAJOR upside to this product. You know that disgusting, chemical-soaked smell of nail polish remover on cotton wool? This just doesn’t have it! I would say that the pads smell almost fruity rather than of chemicals, which is a huge plus for me. I can get a headache just looking at a bottle of remover, so this was a real treat.

Overall, I think that the pads are a little pricey, at £2 for the small tub, but I’m glad I got to try them out. When I switch back to my regular nail varnish remover I’ll see how much I can stand the smell, or else I’ll be going back to these like a shot!

Have you tried the TopShop Nail Varnish Remover Pads? What do you think of them?

I bought ones from Primark about two months ago. They were two packets of 25 pads for a pound so it was an absolute bargain and they are fab! I hope they still do them, because I’m beginning to run out. 🙁

That really helped me! I’ve had nail polish on for about two or three weeks and I needed to take the nail polish off. I tried the remover pads; they’re really good!

    Thanks a lot Chyaz!
