Fitness Goals: Summer 2012

A week or so ago, I mentioned that one of my goals for the summer is to get super fit and healthy – I used to be, and it makes me sad that I’ve let myself slip! I thought that I would lay out some of my fitness goals for the summer.

Firstly, I would like to look like I did last summer – toned, healthy and happy!

I also want to tone up particular parts of my body – my arms for sure, my stomach and thighs too. Weight loss isn’t my priority, but I know it will come along with my health-focussed lifestyle!

I would love to eat better too – I always eat lots of fruit, but need to work on eating more veg and more of a balanced diet generally. I think I’ll try to keep a food diary to keep myself on track too.

I can’t wait to get back to the gym – I’m going toย enrolย at Bannatyne’s ASAP! I will keep you guys updated with my fitness progress, perhaps throughout my JuneVlogs especially.

I would love to know if you guys have any tips, tricks for advice for helping maintain a fitness project – I’m generally quite motivated when it comes to keeping up with aย regime but it’s always good to learn some new techniques!

Stay Creative,

Chyaz xox

I don’t go to the gym, somehow I’m not a fan of it. ๐Ÿ˜€ But I have a fitness programme that I can do at home. To ensure that I don’t get lazy, I set a specific time of day, when I just have to do my workout, otherwise I get all guilty and can’t sleep. ๐Ÿ˜€ So basically I work-out half an hour every day of the week and have been doing it for a few month conscientiously, only missing out on it when I had a really bad day and was real tired. I feel so much more toned. Everyone around me noticed the difference, though I wasn’t set on losing weight, it did come along with it. I feel much more confident and have ordered my bikini for my holiday already. ๐Ÿ™‚
AND I also cut down on meat. It all started with a bet during lent, and ended in me going vegan. hahaha ๐Ÿ™‚
Good luck with your health-focused lifestyle, and please keep us updated, because this is a topic I just looove discussing ๐Ÿ™‚

I feel the same, so difficult to keep motivated with the gym and stuff when you’re revising for final exams! I’m also thinking of going vegetarian, any tips? x

i highly recommend you to be a vegeterian from now onwards i am telling you this from my personal experience as i am born vegeterian even i dont eat egg as i see around my friends are like couch potatoes they were very much stressed about it so i told them to be a veggie and now they are really happy as meat contains fat you really cant think how much fat it contains i just do yoga for 30 mins thats it i hope my tip would be helpful to you

It’s a very good feeling! I never expected to feel so good just because I don’t eat meat! But it makes me feel so much more healthy. :)) It’s worth a try. The worst thing that can happen is that you realise you can’t live without meat, and then go back to eating meat. But you can also try cutting back on meat, and eat meat only once a week. ๐Ÿ™‚
