Review: MUA Brush On Concealer Pen in Radiance

I feel like I’ve posted so many MUA reviews lately, but I’m still working my way through a huge bundle of products they sent me to review a few months ago. Today I’m taking a closer look at the MUA Brush On Concealer Pen in Radiance.

MUA Brush On Concealer Pen in Radiance

I’m not usually a huge concealer wearer – I wear it as often as foundation, which is not often at all! But I do know what I like when it comes to a concealer – creamy, light and fresh. Simple as that!

The shade I was sent is ‘Radiance’ –  I was expecting it to be light and even a little shimmery, which I thought would be interesting to try out and look good on my skin tone.

The brush is quite literally a brush – you have to turn the nozzle at the end to get the product to the brush itself.

I had started to think the pen wasn’t actually working – it took around 30 turns to get product out, but when it did start to flow it was at quite a good pace and each turn produces about the right amount of product for one application.

I really don’t like to give negative comments in reviews…it brings down the mood, but I have to say that I was really disappointed with the colour of this concealer. I’m half tempted to think the wrong product was in the packaging – it was very orange-toned which is never a good look, especially for someone as pale as me.

Also, the product was quite heavily scented (not sure if it was on purpose), and it was quite overwhelming. I’m such a huge MUA fan that this was a shame really!

Have you tried the MUA Brush On Concealer Pen in Radiance? What do you think of it? Was the shade different to the one I’ve shown?

Stay Creative,

I bought this! It was a massive let down 🙁 the smell is disgusting and it was so cakey and orange! I’m very pale (like yourself) and it was just a waste of money… Now I use the NYC stick concealer (£1.79 in Superdrug) and its soooo creamy and nice and its also the right colour! x
