As you might have predicted, I’m on a little spree of reviewing the Real Techniques brushes I bought a few days ago! Today I’m going to be writing about the Real Techniques Blush Brush!
Now, I basically never wear blush, but the thing that really made me want to buy this brush was that, on the back of the packaging, Sam talks about using it to “define and contour”, which is what I’ve decided to use it for!
I normally use an angled blush brush for contouring so I knew this was going to be a slightly different experience. I tried it out on my sister, who wears make up far more often that I do.
She said that the brush felt really, really soft on her skin which is an obvious plus point! When I was using it on her, it was easy to control and the shape of the brush worked really well for the purpose of contouring.
This is probably just a case of getting used to a new style of brush, but at first I felt that there wasn’t enough product coming off the brush and on to the face, which caused me to use a little more than normal. I worked it out a little towards the end of the make up application though, so I think it’s just a case of learning to work with a new style of brush.
Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed using the brush and can’t wait to try it out on myself! It cost £9.99, which is a very reasonable price for the quality of brush.
Stay tuned for one more Real Techniques review coming very soon!
