Review: Narciso Rodriguez For Her Perfume

I always love to receive samples of perfumes – I like to be able to try them out in my own time to determine whether I really like them or not. GlossyBox kindly sent me their Harrods Box a few days ago, and there was a little sample of the Narciso Rodriguez For Her Perfume. I couldn’t wait to give it a go!

I have to admit that I hadn’t heard of this perfume before – I would like to be more of a perfume buff one day but at the moment my knowledge is fairly limited.

My personal preference for fragrances is quite a sweet smell; especially as summer is coming up, it just gives me more and more of an excuse to be obsessed!

When you first spray this perfume, it is very sweet and musky at the same time. I’m not usually a fan of musky scents but there was something about this that I just loved. It really, really reminds me of my childhood; I think my grandma used to wear a perfume that has a similar scent. My grandma is a very stylish lady though, so it was a thumbs up in my opinion!

I feel that the scent is too heavy for daytime wear; I can imagine myself wearing this out to a pub on a summer’s evening. I seem to have completely used up the sample though – I keep spraying it just to reminisce about my childhood! I would consider purchasing it if it was a little more reasonably priced – it costs a whopping £42 for just 50ml.

If you guys know of any more affordable perfumes which are similar to how I’ve described this one please let me know!

Stay Creative,
