If I had to narrow it down, I could say that I have about 5 beauty essentials – my Simple cleanser, moisturiser and lip balm, mascara and a hairdryer. I wouldn’t say that I’m particular about which hairdryer I use (I have mostly used Remmington ones), although after my last one broke due to constant overheating, I decided to get a slightly fancier one!
I spotted the Mark Hill Professional Style & Shine Hairdryer in Boots yesterday – it was reduced from £69.99 to just £29.99, which I thought was an absolute bargain. Imagine how happy I felt when I got to the till and found out it was actually £24.99!
On the packaging, it mentions that the hairdryer has “conditioning ionic technology with Tourmaline” which is meant to give you a sleek and smooth finish. I usually pay no attention to claims like these as I don’t believe they work – I was mostly attracted to the leopard print pattern of the dryer!!
The set comes complete with the dryer itself, three nozzles (I always use the very tapered one to dry my hair straight) and a Style Guide too!
I tend to dry my hair when it has tried naturally about half way. I just feel that the less contact my hair has with heat, the better – especially considering how long it is!
Right after I’d dried my hair, it felt really fresh and light. When it is first dried it’s always a little poofy so I decided to wait until the morning to see if the dryer had really made a difference…
I’m just going to come right out and say it…this hairdryer is INCREDIBLE! When I woke up this morning my hair felt so soft that I couldn’t even comprehend it. How could a hairdryer make such a huge difference?! The ionic technology much have really worked! When I got into uni this morning I even asked my friend to feel my hair and tell me if she thought it was unusually soft – she thankfully agreed, which proved I wasn’t going mad!
This is hands-down the best hairdryer I’ve ever used. The jet of air is very powerful on the fastest setting which is great for a quick drying time. I’m so, so glad I decided to buy it!
Have you used any of the Mark Hill stylish products? What do you make of them?
