Review: Barry M Dazzle Dust in 98 Petrol Black

Every beauty addict loves to try out new products – they may not be new from the brand but it’s just as exciting when they’re new to you! The lovely Harriet aka Harriet1984 on YouTube sent me a gorgeous little box of goodies for my birthday last year, and one of the items in there was the Barry M Dazzle Dust in 98 Petrol Black.

It is a gorgeous carbon black with these amazing blue and purple shimmers…

I have to admit that until I took the lid off to play around with it today I didn’t realise it was quite so beautiful as it is! I’m a complete sucker for glitter as many of you know so this is like a treasure chest to me!

I swatched a little of the Dazzle Dust to see how it works:

I was worried that it wouldn’t maintain it’s sparkle when blended up luckily it looked just as awesome as in the pot! I can seriously picture myself using this to line my eyes for a night out – I think it would look incredible.

My only criticism of Dazzle Dusts in general is that they tend to fall out of the pot and go everywhere – but that might just be because I’m clumsy! I think this is my ultimate favourite one, the colours are simply lovely.

If you’re not really sure how to work with Dazzle Dusts, check out this post I did ages ago!

Are you a Dazzle Dust fan? Which do you love?

I’m a huge fan of this one, I lovepatting it om my eyelids really thickly for a night out, it looks gorgeous with the navy/dark blue flash going through it! (although the fallout is something else!!) On another note it was also the first thing I bought in the airport when I returned to the UK from a year’s studying abroad :p

I got one of these on a recent trip to the UK, and my major problem with them is the fallout. Do you get that Chyaz?
