You guys know that I hate sticky lipgloss. Hate hate hate. Did I mention that I hate it?
That’s why I was intrigued to try the Cargo Lip Gloss in Paris – it claims that it has gorgeous colour and shine without being sticky. Could it be too good to be true?
I got this little sample in the GlossyBox, which weirdly only arrived in the post today despite it being the Christmas one! I instantly liked the colour – I don’t have a lipgloss in a similar shade which is always good. And it’s a handy handbag size too!
The lipgloss has a standard doefoot applicator which I actually quite like. I know that some bloggers and beauty girls hate them but I quite like the tickly feeling on my lips!
So, did the lipgloss pass my non-sticky test?
Ok, I’m not going to lie – there is a bit of sticky-ness to the gloss, but to a certain extent that is unavoidable. It is certainly less sticky than the vast majority of other glosses I have tried out, which is a big bonus for me! I also happen to adore how it looks on the lips, so this one is a keeper. It’s not often that I love a lipgloss so a big thumbs up to Cargo!
The full sized gloss from their website is £10 – I don’t think I’d invest that to be honest, but this little sample will be lovely whilst it lasts!
