I used to absolutely hate false lashes – not the effect they give, but the fact that they’re so tricky to apply! I have finally mastered it though, and am in the process of building a little stock of falsh lashes for nights out.
I decided to try out the Girls Aloud Falsh Lashes – these ones were designed by Sarah Harding.
I actually met Sarah Harding once – I was working at Costa and made her a cappuccino! Perhaps I was naturally drawn to the lashes she designed – but I can’t deny that they are gorgeous too!
Aren’t they beautiful!? I adore lashes that are thicker towards the outer corner – I love the shape that those kinds of lashes give to your eyes.
There is a little tube of lash glue included in the packet, which is actually quite good, but I was trying out my new Revlon one so I used that to apply them (review coming up tomorrow!)
What do you guys think?! I absolutely love these lashes – they are basically the perfect design for me! The one criticism I would give them is that the inner corners are quite sharp – I blinked when I’d first applied them to my left eye and it made it water so badly! I had to take them off and start over on that eye.
It was certainly worth it for the final effect though!! I will be repurchasing these lashes in the future for sure. Completely stunning and they cost just over £5 too!
Have you tried any of the Girls Aloud lashes? Which are your favourites?
