I’m not the world’s biggest mascara buyer – I like to use up one tube before I buy another, which I know is odd for a blogger – but I couldn’t resist picking up this cute-looking Bourjois Paris Volume Glamour Max Definition Mascara in Superdrug today!
I’m a little bit sick of the mascara I’ve been using – the GOSH Beyond Real one – I just cannot get over the smell no matter how hard I try! I’m pleased to report that this mascara has a scent but a gorgeous one – it reminds me of champagne!! How cool is that?
I’m very wary of mascara claims – very few actually make your lashes look ‘false’ (why would you really want that anyway?). All I’m really looking for in a daily mascara is for my lashes to look fuller and thicker with some nice length to them.
I’ve been using a skinny brush with the GOSH mascara for a while, as opposed to the super thick brush from my old favourite, the Benefit BadGal Lash mascara. This Bourjois brush is somewhere in between:
I like the fact that is has extra bristles at the end designed to coat even your most inner lashes with super black mascara!
So, how did it look on the eyelashes?
I’m quite happy with it! I think it’s a very good mascara for the price – £5.49. I might have got it on offer, thinking back…if you’re looking for a new daily mascara head on down to Superdrug to pick it up soon! My only criticism is that you have to be super careful when coating the bottom lashes in case you smudge it everywhere due to the thicker brush, but other than that it is a great mascara!
Have you tried the Bourjois Paris Volume Glamour Max Definition Mascara? What do you think of it?
