There are literally hundreds of blog posts and videos out there about the question that plagues nail polish lovers everywhere: how on earth do you remove glitter nail polish? One of the methods is probably the most commonly used one: scrubbing away at them with nail polish remover until the glitter comes off. It’s also a very bad idea and is damaging to your nails.
Most of the aforementioned blog posts and videos recommend the foil method, which undoubtedly works but is unnecessarily fussy. I was experimenting the other day and put my own little method to the test. Here it is in action:
Here it is in three easy steps:
- Take your cotton wool and apply nail polish remover.
- Place onto your nail and secure with Sellotape.
- Wait 2 minutes and slide the cotton wool off your nail.
Ta da! Simply wipe away any excess stubborn bits and you’re done. Could it be any easier?!
Not every beauty secret has to be complicated – the best ones are often the simplest.
