Review: MUA Professional Mosaic Bronzer

Every now and then I come across a product that I simply forgot to review – this is one such example! The MUA Professional Mosaic Bronzer has been sitting in my make up drawer for a little while now, and I thought it was about time to give it a try! MUA Professional Mosaic Bronzer Now, from the start I’ve been a little bit dubious about this bronzer. I’m personally not a fan of this style of bronzer – I like to know what colour I will come out with rather than mixing random ones up onto your brush. I decided to give it the benefit of the doubt and swatch it!

MUA Professional Mosaic Bronzer

Hmm…I don’t know what your first thought was when you looked at the swatch, but I wasn’t impressed. To me, a bronzer is meant to give you a ‘bronzed’ look, not a coral-peach one. I actually find this colour payoff quite off-putting to say the least. It’s such a shame because I’m a huge MUA fan, but this is not a product for me at all.

One plus point is that it blends out quite nicely, but if you’re not a fan of the colour then it’s somewhat irrelevant. I tried to mix in a little more of the darker shades of the wheel into the swatch but it didn’t make a huge difference.

So from me, it’s a fairly rare thumbs down unfortunately!

Have you tried this MUA Professional Mosaic Bronzer? What did you think of it?

I have had the same problem, there is only one superdrug in Leeds (city centre) that stocks MUA so when I went in the other day to get some more eye primer I was quite disappointed to find out that the professional range wasn’t there… hopefully I will be able to find it in another superdrug elsewhere because I don’t want to have to buy UDPP when I know the MUA one is just as good.

Hi, Chyaz! 🙂 I agree, it definitely looks more pink than bronze. :/ Have you ever tried e.l.f.’s Healthy Glow Bronzing Powder? It’s only one dollar (I think that’s maybe 1 pound 50?) and it works really well on my pale skin for contouring. 😀
