This product has been on my ‘to review’ list for longer than I care to remember…I can be so forgetful sometimes! It is the MUA Professional Eyeshadow Trio in Pink Sorbet.
It’s a gorgeous little palette isn’t it? Before I tried it out, I was never quite sure how to feel about it – the colours aren’t ones I’d use on a daily basis. But once I did try it out, I figured out what its purpose could be. And I’m so glad I did!
The palette consists of three domed shadows; one brown/pink, one golden pink and one rosier pink. I decided to give them a swatch!
I’d be intrigued to know whether your initial thoughts were the same as mine…they are the most amazing highlight shades! They blend beautifully, and could be worked into so many eyeshadow looks just underneath the brow bone, blended down into the shadow.
Most highlight shades I have found have been relatively expensive – I’ve been willing to pay it from, for example, MAC, due to the fact that it’s hard for me to come across a shade that I think it perfect for the job! The lightest two of these shadows would work great, and the entire palette is only £2.50 – amazing!
My only criticism is that the shadows do feel a little chalky at first, but once you start blending that soon sorts itself out. Other than that, full marks MUA!
