Review: OPI I’ll Take The Cake Nail Polish

I know, I know…I’ve been going mad for OPI lately, but I can’t help it! There are just too many gorgeous shades to say no to. This review will be of the shade I’ll Take The Cake, which I believe is designed with brides in mind!

It is a gorgeous light rosy pink – you can see why it would be perfect for brides! I got it for just £5 in the Lena White sale and couldn’t wait to try it out!

I have been going for quite crazy glitter looks lately so it was nice to have a more clean, neutral look for a change.

Doesn’t it look beautiful?! I have to say, as amazing as it looks, it isn’t without its downsides. This polish is very, very sheer – I am wearing 4 coats in this photo and it’s not quite opaque yet. That does bug me quite a bit, although I do like the fact that you could wear it as a ‘barely there’ nail colour.

I’m glad that I didn’t shell out the full £10.50 for this polish – £5 is just right for its quality in my opinion. If I were to be getting married, it would be one of the ones I would seriously consider for the big day!

I think if it were just a slight shade deeper it would be absolutely perfect – that would naturally make it more opaque too. It’s a shame really!

Have you tried this polish? What do you think?
