When I heard the doorbell ring around lunchtime today, I almost squealed in excitement as I knew that my two new OPI Nicki Minaj nail polishes had arrived! I am going to review them both separately on my blog today, so keep your eyes out for the next review!
This post is going to be the review of Metallic 4 Life – a gorgeous black and silver glitter polish.
Isn’t it just beautiful?! As soon as I saw it on the website I put it straight into my shopping cart.
I first applied a base coat and then one coat of Metallic 4 Life. When I first started applying it, I started to get a little worried – the first coat looks SO sheer! I was starting to think I’d been tricked by how amazing it looks in the bottle…
Once that coat had dried and I started to apply the second, the panic was over. It transforms from a sheer polish into a glittery little piece of heaven. Black and silver glitter together is just one of my favourite looks of all time – and now I’ve found my go-to polish for the look!
My main bit of advice is to take your time whilst painting your nails with this shade – because of the chunks of glitter, there’s always the risk of it looking a little bit uneven on the nails. I painted mine quite quickly because I was super excited, but next time I will slow down a little!
This polish has created a great first impression of the OPI Nicki Minaj line. On the Lena White website, it says that the line has been inspired by the Queen of Hip Hop – the shades certainly are as ‘stylish and sassy’ as the website promises!
This polish cost £10.50 from Lena White – the standard OPI price. I seriously don’t mind paying it for good quality nail polishes the LAST!
Have you tried any of the Nicki Minaj OPI shades? What do you think of them?

I almost bought this exact polish yesterday! I was treating myself for my birthday and thought it was amazing but I had no idea it was part of a collection, it was just out there are willy nilly. Instead I got “It’s my year”, which I adore and “the one that got away” from the Katy Perry collection, I can’t wait to try it!
OMG! beautiful! ♥ thanks for the review! awesome!
So pretty! I love the combination of black with glitter.
