Nail of the Day: Totally Teal

Just lately, I’ve been steering away from the glitter polish and going for glossy all-over nail colours. I was looking through my nail polish bag last night and found an old favourite that I’d somewhat forgotten about: the No.7 Stay Perfect Nail Colour in Totally Teal.

I have to admit that teal isn’t one of my favourite colours; it lacks the vibrancy that I normally like, especially in nail polishes. Nevertheless, I just couldn’t resist using it and here is the finished result!

It took a good couple of coats to get the colour really vibrant but overall I’m really happy with the finished effect. The flash on the camera has made the polish look lighter than it is in real life; it looks super shiny on the nails too.

I know I talked about avoiding glitter polishes just before, but I can’t help feeling that this shade would have looked absolutely amazing with just a hint of sparkle running through it. Does anyone else agree?

One thing I adore about the entire Stay Perfect collection is that they do just that; it will take a good few days for any chips to develop in this nail look. I’m constantly on the go and running around all over the place, so that is really important to me!

Are you a fan of the Stay Perfect polishes from No.7? Which is your favourite shade?

Stay Creative,

I adore the shade “Dollar”..it’s just the perfect dark forest green with a little hint of a sparkle!
“Vivid Violet” is a good one too, the only thing is that they both need two coats to turn out at their best, but that’s not such a big problem 🙂

so pretty! my sister favourite colour so I’m always looking out for things in the shade. I agree though, it would look better with some sparkle! 🙂
