Review: Cosmopolitan Beauty Expert Blush Brush

I’m not usually one for making impulsive beauty buys – I like to do a bit of research beforehand, read reviews and make sure that a product is good before buying it blindly. However, when I was caught without a brush for contouring whilst out in Manchester for my boyfriend’s birthday, I nipped into Superdrug and picked up the Cosmopolitan Beauty Expert Perfect Finish Blush Brush.

Now, I know what you’re thinking – “a blush brush for contouring?”. But I find that angled brushes are perfect for contouring, and really like to use them. I spotted this brush selling for around £4 – it seemed such a bargain! Did it live up to my expectations though?

It’s not often I just come out and say this, but…this. brush. is. AMAZING! It applied and blended my contour shade perfectly, with no shedding or roughness to it whatsoever. I was beyond thrilled, and felt like I had discovered a true hidden gem of the beauty world.

Somehow, the bristles seem to become more dense towards the end, whilst still being easy to work with and just flexible enough to create a gorgeous look. I’m seriously tempted to try out a few more of the Cosmopolitan brushes – how have they not raved about these more in the magazine!?

Have you tried any of the Cosmopolitan brushes? What did you think? Any further recommendations for me?

Stay Creative,
