Top 5 Christmas Beauty Gifts for 2011

Being a blogger and YouTuber, I’m often asked for my advice both online and in real life when it comes to buying beauty gifts. Christmas is just around the corner (massive exaggeration, but hey ho! Excuse the pun.) and many of us have already started planning and, well, doing our Christmas shopping. I thought it would be fun to put together my Top 5 Christmas Beauty Gift ideas for 2011 and share them with you!

1. The Urban Decay Naked Palette

You all know I’m obsessed – don’t judge me! I can say, hand on heart, that this is one of the most awesome beauty presents you could ever give to anyone. I don’t know a single person who owns this palette and doesn’t love it. Every girl needs a staple, every day eyeshadow palette and this is the ultimate one, in my opinion! It retails for around £32, so it’s not a cheap gift option, but you can guarantee that whoever receives it will blooming well love you for it!

2. Rockalily Lipstick

Rockalily Lipstick Rockette Red

I feel like I talk about Rockalily at every opportunity…but that’s what happens when you genuinely fall in love with a product! Rockalily is an amazing independent lipstick brand run by the divine ReeRee Rockette. She has created some of the most wonderful shades of lipstick known to man, and the quality is by far the best I have ever known. Check out the Rockalily website HERE – whoever is on the receiving end of one of these lipsticks this Christmas is a very lucky lady!

3. Vivienne Westwood Let It Rock Perfume

Is there a girl alive who could honestly say she wouldn’t be thrilled with one of Vivienne Westwood’s gorgeous perfumes for Christmas?! I don’t think so! This particular beauty, Let It Rock, is my personal favourite ‘special occasion’ scent. The bottle looks and feels luxurious, and the fragrance is out of this world. It’s perfect for winter too, as it is rich and almost spicy. If you have someone in your life you want to spoil, splash out on this little gem!

4. OPI Rainbow Connection Nail Polish

Ok, I hold my hands up…another obsession! Could you possibly think of anything more Christmassy that this AMAZING nail polish by OPI? It is taken from the Muppets Collection, although I have found it extremely difficult to find a bottle for sale anywhere online at the moment. I bought mine when it first came out, but as I predicted, it seems to have sold out everywhere! If you can get your hands on one of these Rainbow Connection polishes, it would make a fabulously sparkly gift for anyone who loves a bit of glitter!

5. ghd Gold Series Hair Styler

Now, I know that this final item is a pricey one, but if there’s someone in your life that you just want to completely and utterly spoil, this is an amazing gift idea! I am completely loving the ghd Gold Series styler – it’s so versatile and gives the best results possible. Although I don’t straighten my hair very often, I still adore this product and simply couldn’t use anything else now! A few times a year, ghd have some pretty good money off deals on their products to search around for any of those before you buy.

I hope that this has been helpful! Feel free to share any of your Christmas gift ideas below!

Stay Creative,

I am not thi biggest fan of the let it rock perfume, but then its a gift where you can go massively wrong buying someone a perfume! As for ghd’s with poker straight hair I have no need for them, but the rest of your ideas look amazing 🙂
